Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary School – Preston

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?

We are working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Preston seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Monday to Friday
8:45am – 3:15pm
Competitive pay: £13.75 per hour

About the Role:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Collaborate with class teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and record pupil progress in line with school policies

About You:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN is essential
  • Confident working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Passionate, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
  • A team player who thrives in a school setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
