Job description

A client primary school in the Whalley Range area of Manchester (M16), are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis in September. The role is to work with 2 children in KS2 who have identified needs. The school are looking for an adaptable teaching assistant who will work as a constant support for the children on a daily basis. The role will start the third week back in September and will run until the end of the academic year. The role has the potential to go permanent for the right person.

The role is to work in a 'GOOD' primary school in the heart of Manchester. The school boasts a well resourced SEN provision which accommodates children from the EYFS up to KS2. The successful applicant will support children in the provision during part of the day and also in the classroom. The school are looking for a teaching assistant with the capabilities to work as a strong role model who will inspire the children's learning and help them to integrate fully in all aspects f schools life.

  • Have previous experience supporting children with specific SEN
  • Will have recent and relevant primary school experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
