SEN Teaching Assistant

Have you worked in schools for children with ASD, ADHD, GDD?

Have you worked with children aged 0-5?

Have you attended MAKATON, PECS or TEAM TEACH training?

Do you have any 1 to 1 or group experience with children?

We are looking to recruit experienced Learning support assistants for children with Special Educational needs. We would ideally be recruiting for both daily cover and permanent roles too. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-5 and have experience in working with children who have Special Educational needs. However, we will consider recruiting experienced teaching assistants who have the relevant skills and show willingness to train further as the setting supplies various training courses for staff.

We will be looking for somebody who can demonstrate a professional approach to working with children and their parents. The successful candidate would be required to liaise with other professionals and have excellent record keeping skills.

You must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Ideally professional experience working with SEND children in the UK in the last 3 years
  • Have up to date professional childcare related references
  • Have an enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service or be happy to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
