SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a new challenge in an exceptional SEN School?

I am looking for an excellent Teaching Assistant for a school in South Manchester.

This school provides support for pupils from the ages of 5 to 18 with various additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition, PMLD, SLD and MLD. This school aims to create and maintain a calm and nurturing learning environment.

This school is proud to provide a stimulating, supportive and safe learning environment to assist each pupil to develop the skills and confidence to achieve their potential. They place a high emphasis on inter-disciplinary working, with onsite speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and a full time nurse on site.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs in an academic or residential environment
  • Experience providing personal care
  • Calm and nurturing support style
  • Child DBS on the update service, or a willingness to get one
  • Flexible and creative
