Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a school in the heart of Darlington to recruit a passionate Learning Support Assistant to work alongside children and young people with a multitude of Special Needs. This role is to work on a full time basis, to begin ASAP! If this role interests you we urge to apply NOW!
Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children in Key Stages 1 and 2, accompanied by a Teacher and other Support Assistants. You will be working with children and young people with a multitude of SEND such as:
- understanding new or complex information
- learning new skills
- coping independently
- Speech Language Communication Needs
The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:
- Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities
- Be confident supporting children an d young people with different types of SEN
- Worked as a Care / Support Worker
- Worked in a Specialist Provision
Teaching Personnel can offer Support Assistant’s:
- Competitive rates of GBP285-375 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
- Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding, Behaviour that Challenges and more
- An experienced Consultant along with our dedicated on call service
To be accepted for this role, you must have a Child Workforce Only DBS that is registered on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one through ourselves.
