SEN Teaching Assistant

Our client school in Louth is in need of Teaching Assistants to support within their school. The school supports students aged 2 to 19 years with a range of learning difficulties including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities. Some students also have other conditions such as communication difficulties and sensory impairment. 

The school required a Teaching Assistant to work on an a flexible within the school, supporting across various classes. It is likely this role will be on a full time basis, however it does allow you the flexibility to pick and choose the days you work. 

The ideal candidate must have relevant experience of supporting Special Educational needs. Please apply if you hold any of the following: 

• Experience of supporting students with Severe Learning Difficulties
• Experience of working with children or adults with Autism
• Previous work within care
• Moving & Handling training 
• Previous nursing work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
