As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in making a difference in the lives of our students.

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced SEN teachers to provide tailored support and assistance to students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students during lessons and activities.
  • Supporting students with their personal care needs, if required.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in SEN education (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
