Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester, seeking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant until the end of the academic year. This is a full time position with an immediate start date running until the end of the academic year.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work with a range of students with a variety of Special Educational Needs including moderate Autism, challenging behaviour and social emotional mental health. They will work with the school SENCO and classroom teachers across department to ensure that individual students receive the relevant support inside and outside of the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working as a teaching assistant within a secondary school or will have relevant experience such as Youth Work or Sports Coaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
