SEN Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant in a rapidly improving school with endless opportunities for their students to achieve their academic goals and gain valuable teaching experience.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be required to support students with special education needs who need extra support with their learning and personal development. This is a very rewarding role assisting SEN students in KS3 and KS4 achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Full time SEN Teaching Assistant
- Initially required on a temporary basis with a potential 12 month contract on offer
- Supporting SEN students aged 11-16 engage in and outside of the classroom
- Working with small groups of students and individuals with special education needs
- Pay of up to £1300 per month
- Working hours 08:30-15:00
- Gaining valuable teaching experience
- Secondary school located in Macclesfield
With the new academic year in sight our client is looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to help support their SEN unit, to give their students the best support and opportunities possible for them to achieve and excel in life.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be working in a SEN unit in a diverse role, supporting small groups of students and working on a 1 to 1 basis, every day being different.
The school wish to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant who;
- Is able to build strong relationships with pupils and help them achieve their academic goals
- Ideally has previous experience working with SEN students
- Is able to commit to a full time position to help build a good relationship with the students
- Has a good knowledge of the main core subjects
- Is a caring and supportive person
This school is located in Macclesfield, with a direct London Euston train link that stops off in Macclesfield. This school was judged as 'Good' throughout all areas with 'Outstanding' features on their Ofsted report.
