Job description

An outstanding and award-winning Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their growing team in Lancashire. Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (either in a school or care setting)
  • A compassionate, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A proactive and flexible attitude towards challenges
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
