Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to children's lives?

A supportive and inclusive primary school in South Manchester is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision. This role is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to work with pupils across a variety of primary age groups, supporting children with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils within a specialist provision designed for children with a range of SEND needs.
• Working with children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Providing tailored support for pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs.
• Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and confidence both in and out of the classroom.
• Supporting children with emotional regulation and implementing positive behaviour strategies.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals to support pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH needs is essential.
• Experience within a primary school, specialist provision, alternative provision, or care setting is highly desirable.
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt to the differing needs of pupils across various age groups.
