This school is a mixed school, educating children between the ages of 11 and 16. The school is in Gorton, in the M18 area. The school currently holds an Ofsted rating of 3, meaning that it is requiring improvement. Currently, only 25% of students are achieving a grade 5 or above in both Maths and English, which is half of the national average. The proportion of students who require SEN support, are eligible for free school meals and do not speak English as their first language is also much higher than the national average. Therefore, this school will be challenging with the potential to be hugely rewarding.
