SEN Teaching Assistant

New opportunity to work within an Outstanding SEN faculty within a mainstream secondary school in Bury.

• Full-time SEN teaching assistant required.
• Role available from April 2020.
• Working within the ASC provision at a secondary school in Bury.
• Supporting pupils with ASC and other SEN requirements.
• Supporting with subjects such as Maths and English.
• Ensuring class teachers have the support they enquire within the classroom.

Application Requirements

• Must have experience with pupils who have SEN.
• Any specific experience with ASC is desirable.
• Any experience within an education setting is also desirable.

Working within our client school, the responsibilities and roles involved will be:

• Working within a recently refurbished ASC provision supporting pupils with ASC and other SEN both inside and outside the classroom.
• Ensuring class teachers have all the support they require.
• Helping to plan activities for pupils at various levels of learning ability.
• Supporting with a variety of subjects including English and Maths.

Our client secondary school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via the M66 and A56 through Whitefield. Our client school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester, Bolton and Rochdale.
