SEN Teaching Assistant for Brighton School Needed

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to work as an SEN Support Worker within a mainstream setting in the Brighton Area. Your main roles and responsibilities will be to work with a Reception pupil who has Autism.

It is essential that you have empathy for pupils experiencing learning difficulties including social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. A positive attitude is needed to problem solving and be aware of solution focused intervention.

Due to working 1:1 you will need to have at least 6 months experience of working in a school in similar settings.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
