Teaching Personnel are seeking a hard working, empathetic, experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a Lancashire SEN School - are you interested?

I am the Recruitment Consultant for the Lancashire SEN Schools and Behavioural Units and one of our partner Schools are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in their KS3/4 department within an SEN School. The School is based on the outskirts of Chorley and is Ofsted graded 'Outstanding'. The School has close links to the M6 motorway and is accessible via public transport. The School are looking to appoint a full time member of staff to join their growing and dynamic staff team.

The pupils in School have a range of needs including; Autism, ADHD, SEMH Difficulties, Learning Difficulties and can often display challenging behaviours. The candidate must therefore have an understanding or have experience working with children with additional needs and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who can display very difficult behaviours.

The School hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday and candidates must be willing to attend CPD events and courses outside of term time, including Team Teach.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN
