SEN - Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support urgently needed at a specialist school in Cambridge.
Are you looking to provide support in the classrooms of an excellent specialist school?
- This role is available on a Full Time basis Monday to Friday
- You will receive a competitive rate of pay in weekly payments
Teaching Personnel are the sole recruiters and are currently looking to appoint 3 SEN specialist Teaching Assistants at a school in Cambridge providing support and care for students with ASC. Due to recent expansion at the school there is a need for additional support in classrooms, so now is the best time to apply! The staff at the school is highly supportive and proud of their jobs. They hold the school in high regard and are looking for new teaching assistants to join them!
Previous experience or qualifications will be required for this role due to the needs of the students. Any of the following would be desired for this role:
- Education experience
- SEN experience (particularly ASC)
- Behaviour Management experience or training
- Psychology degree/experience/training
- Sports degree/experience/training
- Support Work (Mental Health) experience or training
If you are new to working with SEN and ASC do not worry! We offer additional training such as Autism Awareness and Team Teach to ensure you are confident and comfortable in your work.
A working interview will be required to ensure your suitability for the students and school but also yourself.
