Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a large trust of Primary Schools in King’s Lynn, ranging from 1 form to 3 form entry 3 form entry, who have recently reached out to us requiring additional Teaching Staff to provide effective and quality cover across the school on a regular and flexible basis.

This role is ideal for teachers who are perhaps looking to take a step back from the full-scale responsibilities of teaching, but still want the enjoyment of working in education and supporting primary aged pupils to achieve their goals.

Having built up a strong working relationship with the trust, Teaching Personnel are now looking to take on new teachers who are capable of providing mixed class cover across both KS1 and KS2 in order to facilitate adaptable needs on a flexible working basis, week on week. The following criteria is desirable for potential candidates:

- Primary QTS must be held

- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience 

- Own method of transport is essential

- Experience teaching various year groups and mixed ability classes

If successful, all teachers will be supported by a qualified Teaching Assistant who will provide overall class support, as well as work within small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
