SEN Teaching Assistant - Brighton School

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to work as an SEN Support Worker within a secondary mainstream school within the Brighton Area. Your main roles and responsibilities will be to work collaboratively with the school management development team to implement and regularly review the whole school discipline policy. It is essential that you have empathy for pupils experiencing learning difficulties including social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. A positive attitude is needed to problem solving and be aware of solution focused intervention. You will be expected to work with pupils with in group and one to one situation

Ideally you will have experience of working with pupils/children with SEN

Ideally you will have an understanding and commitment to the concepts of inclusion, entitlement and partnerships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
