SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism)

Job description

A primary school situated in East London with very good transport links is looking to recruit SEN experienced teaching assistants with a focus on Autism to start in September 2018.

The school:

  • Received a "Outstanding" Ofsted rating in their latest inspection.
  • Situated very closely to two main underground stations.
  • The school's purpose is to inspire and empower the next generation.

Candidates Must:

  • Have teaching assistant experience including SEN.
  • Be experienced working with Autism, preferably with the use of Makaton or PECS
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • A passion for working with SEN children.

The school are hoping to interview as soon as possible for this role starting in September. Suitable candidates may also be considered for an immediate start. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
