SEN Teacher - Poole

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN School in the Poole area, seeking a class teacher for their Autism (ASC) class.

This is a full time class teaching role, teaching a mixed ability class of pupils with ASC. This will involve all aspects of the teaching role, including planning, preparation and marking.

The school is an SEN setting, catering for pupils with a range of needs, in particular ASC, ADHD and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). The pupils can display challenging behaviour. 

You will be teaching across the curriculum with a small class of around 6-8 pupils. 

The succesful applicant will:

  • be confident working with pupils with SEN
  • have experience with Autism
  • have strong, positive behaviour management
  • be flexible and able to teach multiple subjects (with support for planning)

This is a full time role to start in January 2020, or earlier if available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
