SEN Teacher

Job description

One of my client schools in East Manchester are looking for a SEN Teacher who can cover 5 days a week, starting in January.

The Pupil Referral Unit is in East Manchester and caters for KS4 pupils who are not in mainstream schools or who have Education Health Care Plans. The school provide a range of learning opportunities for pupils in order to enable them to maximise their potential and best prepare them for the future-whether that be a return to mainstream or other educational provision, a move on to a college course or into work and training.

In summary I require:

  • An SEN Specialist Teacher who has previous experience of teaching within a SEN school/setting
  • Someone who has excellent behaviour management skills
  • If you are team teach trained this is an added bonus
  • Available 5 days a week
