Do you have experience working with children and young people?

Are you interested in providing one-to-one support outside mainstream schools?

If so, our Special Education Needs (SEN) tutor role might be perfect for you, especially if you have experience working with children and young people with additional needs and are seeking flexible work.

In this SEN tutor role, you will:

  • Work closely with children who have special education needs, providing face-to-face support to those with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) issues.
  • Tailor resources to the child's needs, potentially focusing on developing their Maths and English skills through play or personalised learning methods.
  • Utilise your skills and experience to keep the child engaged with tasks and ensure they can access learning effectively.
  • Implement a range of behaviour management strategies to support the child's progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
