Are you confident with small group teaching of pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties including physical disabilities?

Or perhaps you have an interest in teaching SEN or vulnerable children and are looking for a NEW opportunity!

We are currently working with a special educational needs school in Northolt, Ealing to find a confident and engaging Teacher to work in a small class of children in the school with moderate to severe learning difficulties including physical disabilities.

This SEN Teacher role is full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm and does require consistency and punctuality due to the vulnerability of the pupils. Teachers are supported in class by up to 3 experienced SEN teaching assistants to implement lesson plans 1:1 or in small groups.

The curriculum varies for students dependant on their needs and ages so being able and open to teaching a range of subjects is ideal. Students may learn below national curriculum level and through P Scales so being able to adapt the curriculum to their specific needs is vital.

If you are confident that you could teach children with the needs below and have QTS, PGCE, Degree with QTS or Overseas Trained Teacher status with Naric we want to hear from you!

• Complex or severe learning needs, limited speech, limited social interaction,  medical needs, physical disabilities and/or behaviours that may challenge
• Primary – Key stage 2

This school is based in Northolt, Ealing with good links to Central London via Northolt Station, TFL rail via Southall Station or Metropolitan Line via Ruislip Station. There is also parking onsite on a first-come-first-serve basis so this would be ideal for applicants travelling from across Ealing or Hillingdon to Northolt via car.

Having experience teaching special educational needs or education health care plans (EHCPs) or being open to training and development is ideal.
