Daily Rate: £130 - £160 (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons that inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with special educational needs
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support their learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement, and communicate regularly with parents and colleagues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, schemes of work, and assessment strategies
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Mathematics
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths to secondary students
  • Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary level, preferably in UK schools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
