Job description

Our client SEN School in Blackburn are seeking a Teacher to support the needs of their students on a long-term basis.

The role will involve a regular Friday, teaching pupils with ASC but they also need someone who is available to cover for absence/courses on an ad-hoc basis. The school currently utilise their HLTA's to cover teacher absences but are hoping to gain a strong supply Teacher from Teaching Personnel who can be flexible and cover when required. Please note, for this reason, this role will not suit someone looking for a full-time role, although there could be instances where you are needed 5 days per week.

You must have experience in SEN (preferably Autism) and be resilient, with strong behaviour management skills. You may also be expected to work with children with other Special Educational needs including PMLD, SLD, PD and Complex Needs, therefore experience in this area is also highly sought after.

Rates of pay will vary dependent upon experience.
