Job description

GCSE Tutor – Newcastle

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed GCSE Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition to students across Newcastle. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to support young people in achieving their academic goals while building confidence and independence.

The Role

As a GCSE Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs

  • Plan and prepare structured lessons in line with the GCSE curriculum

  • Support students’ academic progress, confidence, and personal development

  • Monitor progress and adapt sessions to maximise learning outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience teaching or tutoring at GCSE level

  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, effective sessions

  • A patient, supportive approach with strong communication skills

  • A genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
