Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support KS1 students in a brilliant Trafford based Primary School.

The role is for general classroom support in a key stage 1 class, supporting students on a 1 to 1 and small group basis, having a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have good behaviour management, experience with SEN would be beneficial but not a requirement.

The school are looking for someone who is:

  • Adaptable and able to resolve issues throughout the day
  • Solid understanding of the curriculum
  • Good behaviour management
  • Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
  • Relevant experience in a childcare setting

The school itself is rated “outstanding” by OFSTED framework and comprises of three forms. The staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive, ensuring you will feel settled quickly in the school. The KS1 team are comprised of experience and junior employees, providing an atmosphere based on knowledge and creativity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
