SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel have an opportunity for the ideal candidate to provide 1 to 1 support to a year 3 student who has complex behavioural needs. The school is locate in Sale (M33) and is to commence ASAP for the remainder of this academic year.

In this role you will be working closely with the class teacher and other professionals to ensure the child has the best opportunity to strive both academically and social, tailoring your approach based on their needs.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to inspire the children to achieve their goals. The ideal educator will have a patient and understanding approach to supporting pupils, showing great communication skills. You will also have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs. Personal and professional experience is welcomed for this role, the Head Teacher has commented on being interested in educators with a keen attitude and are open to shortlisting educators with transferable skills that may been gained from outside of the classroom.  

The school, rated “good” by OFSTED Framework is a two form primary school, with a well-balanced team comprised of senior and junior experienced staff members, providing a great place to work and grow. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
