Teaching Personnel are seeking special education needs Teaching Assistants to work within schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull area.

About the role:

  • The role is an SEN Teaching Assistant role
  • Location: Kingston upon Hull
  • Age ranges: 4-16
  • Preparing lesson in advance to be used with the needs of specific students
  • Assisting children with their educational development both inside and outside a classroom
  • Flexible working is also a possibility with a range of optional available; part-time, full time, temp
  • The chance to work within a range of differing schools that will give you the chance to really change lives

About you

  • Ideally you be able to demonstrate previous experience working with SEN children
  • You will have a calm demeanour, resilient, but also have an outgoing nature.
  • You will have and be committed to the safe welfare of children.
  • Ideally have your own transport and a clean driving licence

To be considered you must have:

  • You will have a valid enhanced DBS check or be willing to have one through Teaching Personnel
  • You will be able to provide 2 references and a 6 year working history

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
