Job description

Do you just want to teach?

Are you exhausted with all the red tape?

Do you want to work 1:1 and make a real difference?

You will be working one-to-one, between the school hours. Either home based, working in a community space or in a student's home, you will have the opportunity to develop an excellent rapport with your students. We are seeking excellent, qualified and well-organised teachers who are able to communicate an enthusiasm for learning and foster a strong family partnership. Applicants should have credibility with colleagues, students and families and a proven track record of working with vulnerable students.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting qualified Teachers with SEN experience to work across Haringey and beyond. We support children and young people across Haringey by delivering high quality tuition. As part of our dedicated and supportive team, you will demonstrate a calm and consistent approach working with children with elevated Social, Emotional and Mental Health and SEN needs. You will have a flexible and creative attitude as well as an approachable and resilient manner. 

 

We are looking for someone to join our supportive and caring team who:

  • put children at the top of the agenda
  • is able to demonstrate outstanding teaching skills with experience in teaching KS3/4
  • has excellent interpersonal skills
  • has a strong commitment to raising achievement for all children
  • is open to all new ideas and approaches
  • has SEN experience or SEMH experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
