SEN Teaching Assistant required for full time work in a primary school in Central Cambridge

A top Cambridge primary school are looking to attract a Behavior Mentor who can successfully support the behavior of a pupil who has been diagnosed with ADHD. This is an inclusive school that aims to make all children feel welcome and safe in a happy, secure environment which is supportive and stimulating

To be considered for this post you must have experience working with Children who have also been diagnosed with ADHD. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, engaging and creative. You will have an understanding and flexible nature and be passionate in assisting children with ADHA and behaviour disorders to access the curriculum. Having positive handling training and/or Team Teach would be an advantage but not necessary as all staff gain training throughout the role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
