SEN TA Jobs in West Sussex (immediate start)

Job description

Do you have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? With immediate and future Teaching Assistant posts, we are looking for full time support staff to work with children with Autism (ASC), Asperger's, behavioural problems and Social Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH). There are opportunities to work within one particular class (max class size 7 pupils) or you will be assigned to work with an individual on a full time basis.

You will be required to work within this specialist school Monday to Friday for approximately 34 hours per week (term time only). In-house training is provided to staff when required. Due to the rural location of the school, own transport is essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
