SEN Support Worker needed in Rothwell

Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for an SEN Support Worker for a full-time temporary position starting in the new academic year (3rd September 2018). The school is located in Leeds, Rothwell LS26 just 25 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. You will be required to work Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm) with two pupils who have SEN. One child is in Year 2 with Autism and the other child is in Year 4 with behavioural issues.

Ideal candidate

The school are looking for an:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistant with SEN experience
  • Experienced Teaching Assistant with experience working with pupils on a 121 basis
  • Individual who is available full-time
  • Individual with a previous / valid DBS

School

The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and are on their way to 'Outstanding'. The school have a strong Senior Leadership Team and run INSET training every fortnight. The school is located in Rothwell Leeds and currently have 327 pupils on roll for the new academic year.

Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
