SEN Support Assistant
Are you looking for a Part- time SEN Support Assistant role?

Teaching Personnel have been approached by a primary school Rawtenstall to source a committed support assistant role to work within a challenging Key Stage 1 class. There is a child within the Year 2 class who is undertaking the EHCP process and the Head Teacher is keen to get the appropriate support in place as soon as possible. The primary school is average sized, and it is easily accessible via a number of public transports.
You would be working on a full-time basis, mainly within the classroom to support the child in accessing the curriculum. You may be expected to work on a 1:1 basis delivering tailored interventions outside of the classroom. Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs, Autism and working within a Key Stage 1 setting are desirable. The Head Teacher is keen for the suitable candidate to start as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic year, with a view to be made permanent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
