SEN & SEMH Learning Support Assistants Needed — ASAP Starts!
Location: Swinton, Salford & Surrounding Areas
Contract: Full-Time Only
Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable SEN and SEMH Learning Support Assistants to join our partner schools immediately. If you’re passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally—this is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs

Assisting teachers with tailored learning activities and behaviour support

Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
-
Supporting pupils in managing emotions, building confidence, and developing independence
-
Working collaboratively with school staff, parents and external agencies
We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting SEN and/or SEMH pupils (school, care, or similar settings)
-
Resilience, patience, and a nurturing approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to commit to full-time, ongoing work
-
Availability to start ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
