Teaching Assistant Neath - Experience required

  • Work in a variety of schools in the Neath area
  • Access to courses - RWI, Team Teach and other CPD

Can you handle challenging behaviour? Do you want to work with secondary school children? Do you want to work in a rewarding environment?

The opportunity is based in the Llanelli area. You will be assisting in a classroom and support the children. It is a challenging environment but very rewarding for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate:

•Will have a flexible attitude and good patience when working with children.

•Offer excellent support to class teacher.

•Be comfortable working with small groups of children on their own.

•Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour.

•Ability to adapt according to the classroom challenges.

•DBS checked (assistance provided if without)

•Able to start ASAP

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
