SEMH Teaching Assistant Required in King's Lynn

Teaching assistants are required at an SEMH school located in King's Lynn

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment. The school provides excellent care, support and education for students from KS1 - KS4 with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs. The school has been recently rated as 'Good' by Ofsted.

We are looking for someone with an engaging and enthusiastic attitude who is passionate for supporting children with special educational needs. Due to the needs of the children at this school, it is required that you have previous experience with children with SEMH or other similar experience.

This role is to start in September for the new academic year, and you must be available to work at least once a week (Monday to Friday) between 08:30 - 15:30. This role is available full time or on a part time basis, with either temporary or long-term to permanent positions.

For this role we offer a competitive salary of £58.50 - £70 (dependent on experience)

A Child workforce DBS which is on the update service will be required for this role. If you do not have one we can process one for you as we are an authorised counter signatory; we will go through the full details in your interview.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
