Experienced SSA required providing 1:1 Behaviour Support within a Burnley Junior School

  • Experience working within KS2 and supporting the National Curriculum is highly sought after.
  • Experience supporting pupils of a challenging nature and excellent classroom based references within the last twelve months are essential for this role.
  • Full time role 5 days a week until October Half Term, with the potential to secure a long term/perm role in school

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate teaching assistant, to working within a Burnley Junior School. The position is to start in September 2016 and run until at least October Half Term, with the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract. The role will require the successful candidate to provide 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with Behavioural Difficulties.

The Head Teacher is keen to see candidates who are passionate about working within education and have a calm and nurturing personality. It is essential that candidates are able to work within a challenging environment and can confidently support pupils with complex and additional needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. Staff within school are described as friendly, happy and extremely hard working.

Experience working within KS2 and excellent classroom based references within the last twelve months are essential for this role. Were possible experience supporting pupils with Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties is highly sought after.
