Sports Teaching Assistant in York

Sports graduates and coaches have proven to work successfully in the SEN and behaviour schools within North Yorkshire. A school in York which caters for students with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social Emotional Mental Health is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a student in one of their Key Stage 3 classes on a 1:1 basis. You will be working in small bursts in the classroom and then rewarding with short sessions of sports.

An ideal candidate will have:

-A Sports coaching degree

-Excellent behaviour management

-Experience of working with Autism and Learning Difficulties

-Team Teach training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
