Secondary Supply Teacher
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching GCSE subjects – no planning, no heaps of preparation beforehand?! Sounds dreamy!
We know that current Supply Teachers are anxious about September, having gone such a long period of time already without work.
We know that NQT’s may be feeling nervous about jumping straight into their induction year, having missed their last placement, and not feeling as though they have gained enough classroom experience.
We also know that there are a huge number of teachers out there seeking part-time or casual teaching vacancies, but why should YOU choose and trust TEACHING PERSONNEL?
As the UK’s leading education agency, we pride ourselves on how we care for our staff.
-
The first agency to furlough all eligible supply staff, before the government scheme was released
-
Payroll is weekly, which means you are paid every Friday. This is all done through PAYE, meaning you will not be charged for any admin costs and all National Insurance/Tax is deducted for you.
-
Offering unlimited, accredited CPD opportunities throughout lockdown (and always!)
-
Unlimited Recommend a Friend Bonus – an easy way to earn yourself GBP50
-
Regular communication with your team of consultants in the Cambridge branch (covering East Anglia) via Telephone, Video Call, Email or Social Media – we are on Linkedin and Facebook!
-
FREE Teaching Resources
-
For NQTs, we have a specialist training package which includes CPD from our sister company, The Best Practice Network.
There is so much more we offer and are developing for teachers this academic year, if you would like to know more about any of the above or speak to your consultant – call us on 01223 778494.
Rates of Pay
Day to day supply is typically between GBP115-GBP130 per day, dependent upon experience. For longer term positions, this is negotiated with yourself and the school but would generally be paid to your teacher scale.
Next Steps
Your point of contact is Sophia, she is our Candidate Consultant for the branch and works closely with our Teachers and Support Staff to ensure they are cleared to work asap and happy with the amount of work they receive through TP. Contact her by applying for this vacancy or email her with your CV and a good time to set up a call on sophia.binns@teachingpersonnel.com
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training.
