Please see the details below of our client school located in Oldham who have 2 full time positions available from September.
Applicants must have recent experience working within secondary education and ideally have a variety of expertise supporting SEN pupils or those who require additional support to engage within lessons.
*** Full time SEN/Behaviour Teaching Assistant Roles
*** Temporary role - Likely to be required for the full academic year - September 2018 start
*** Located in Oldham a short drive from Royal Oldham Hospital
*** Daily rate of £54 - £60 per day experience dependant
Due to a number of gaps within their support team, this large secondary school in Oldham have two opportunities available for Teaching Assistants with secondary school based experience. The incoming Teaching Assistants will hold a number of responsibilities including;
*** Supporting pupils within their studies across all subject areas
*** Providing general support to classroom teachers
*** Delivering additional tuition to pupils on a 1:1 basis
*** Liaising in partnership with the SENCO to support pupils with moderate learning difficulties
Our client school is smaller in comparison to a number of Oldham schools and has a strong community feel due to the respectful attitudes of pupils who engage with their education, which is accredited to the high standards of teaching across the board. The school is well lead by the Principal and their senior leadership team; the academy sponsors also provide support with CPD for staff development. The majority of students on roll are from minority ethnic backgrounds and the number of students who speaking English as an additional language is above the national average. The school moved in to a purpose built site and is located a short distance from Royal Oldham Hospital in Oldham.
