Job description
Job Title: SEN Tutor
Job Duties:
The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include creating individualised learning plans, adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of each student, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to students and their families.
Required Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual students
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN teaching methods
- Experience with assistive technology
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position with part-time hours, based in Surrey, South East England. The hourly rate is between £20 - £25. The role may require travel to different locations to meet with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
