Job description

Behaviour Buddies” work on a full or half day basis, and will challenge and motivate pupils, reinforcing self-esteem and providing pastoral support. This contributes to raising achievement and attendance, to ensure schools meet their attendance targets.

  • £70 - £85 a day.
  • We are looking for “Behaviour Buddies” in the following areas; BB6, BB7, BB10, BB11 and BB12
  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
  • Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

The ideal candidate:

  • Implement positive behaviour management.
  • Work well with the classroom teacher.
  • Will have experience supporting pupils with SEN.
  • Confidently adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils.
  • Show a positive attitude.
  • Be reliable.
  • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
