1:1 Teaching Assistant - English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Lytham St Annes (FY8)

September start

A client school in Lytham St Annes is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team, specializing in supporting a child with English as an Additional Language (EAL) following a specific EHCP. The role is full time, Monday through to Friday with only working school hours. The support assistant will need to provide targeted assistance to help the child build English language proficiency, both academically and socially.

Qualifications required for the role:

-          Relevant qualifications in education or support for English language learners are advantageous.

-          Demonstrated understanding and experience working with children who have EAL and EHCPs.

-          Experience in education setting.
