Science Teacher Stockport

Stockport based secondary school are looking to appoint a Science teacher on a full time basis to join their Science department for September 2019.

Located in central Stockport the school has modern state of the art facilities and teaching aids providing an excellent platform to engage students to ensure they achieve expected levels of progress within Science. Medium sized with around 850 students the school is a traditional mixed comprehensive across the ages of 11-16.

Science teachers coming to the end of a permanent/fixed term contract, completing a supply position or have just completed a teacher training programmes and looking for your first Science post we welcome your application. After an initial introduction through Teaching Personnel if successful there will be an opportunity to earn a permanent contract directly with the school.

The timetable will consist of all three Sciences to lower key stage and a specialism of Chemistry or Physics required for KS4 year groups. You will be required to attend an interview and perform a lesson observation in this final half term to be successful.
