Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside one of our partner secondary schools in Oldham who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher in Oldham from September 2019. This will be a fixed term contract for the duration of the academic year, with a strong possibility of the perfect candidate earning a permanent contract from September 2020. This is a highly exciting opportunity for those Newly Qualified Teachers looking to start their career in education at a 'Good' school, as well as experienced Teachers looking to take the next step in their career.

• Full time Teacher of Science from September 2019

Our Ofsted graded 'Good' partner school is located in the Shaw area of Oldham and currently has over 1300 students across the various age groups from 11-18. It is a "good school with a strong sense of purpose and tradition." Progress and achievement are excellent with 82% of their students achieving a grade 4 or above in English and Maths in 2018.

As a Science Teacher at our partner school, the successful candidate should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK, and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply. The incoming Teacher of Science will be expected to teach all three disciplines of Science to KS3 level, and will have the opportunity to teach within their specialism at KS4 level. The ability to consistently plan and deliver 'Outstanding' lessons to a wide range of students is highly desirable, including those with Special Educational Needs.
