Science teacher - Salford - September 2018 start.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Science teacher ahead of September on behalf of a 11-16 academy based in Salford.

Due to an unexpected absence within their Science department, a last minute opportunity has emerged for any Science teachers looking to secure a temporary position ahead of the new academic year.

• Full time Science teacher - September 2018 start
• 12 month temporary role initially - Permanent opportunity potentially available following this
• Located on the border of Wigan and Warrington
• Biology, Chemistry and Physics teachers all consider
• The Academy welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified Science teachers

This is the ideal opportunity for a Science teacher to join a rapidly improving school under the guidance of a highly regarded Principle. The successful Science teacher will be joining a well structured and managed Science department who have consistently improved Science results in recent years. You will receive regular CPD opportunities and also have the opportunity to earn a permanent post, due to the nature of this temporary role.

All applicants wishing to be considered for this opportunity must;

• Hold FQT status and a PGCE/Equivalent in secondary Science
• Be comfortable delivering Science to all abilities across KS3 and GCSE
• Be comfortable managing behaviour and achieving excellent results with all pupil abilities

The school 11-19 is a Community Comprehensive college has approximately 759 pupils on roll and is situated at the extreme western end of the metropolitan district of Salford on the Cheshire and Warrington border (Close to the M60). The M60 and M6 dissect the college and are both within 3 miles. The A57, joining Manchester and Warrington are the main road through the district. The school holds excellent facilities and is a state of the art college which opened in September 2011.
