We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring colleague to join a highly regarded and successful Science Faculty in a Secondary school in the North of Preston. We seek the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or better lessons. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for Science, your presence and personality. Science is a high achieving and dynamic faculty. Results are outstanding and students make excellent progress. Members of the team are totally committed to ensuring successful outcomes for our students. At post-16 we currently offer Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
You will teach KS3/4 Biology and Chemistry, however you will also teach some Physics at KS3. You will be covering a maternity leave which isdue to end in November 2021. Although you will be employed through Teaching Personnel temporarily, you will be treated like a permanent member of staff and have every opportunity to gain a school contract in the future.
The school is described as friendly, dynamic and innovative school in the heart of the outerskirts of Preston, which affords a high quality of life. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
