Teaching Personnel have recently started working with residential homes supplying Support Workers for a variety of different shifts and roles. We work closely with a company that has homes in and around Southampton, Fareham and Bournemouth. The majority of these are residential children homes that cater for 5-19 year olds with SEMH, they are small with only 4-5 clients in each home and the staffing is 1:1.

They do require a variety of shifts which are either 7:00-14:30, 14:00-23:00 or waking nights shifts, these are Monday - Sunday. The company also have other homes where they support foster carers and young parents.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour previously
  • Team Teach training for the residential children's homes (we offer this training as well)
  • Safeguarding training
  • Flexibility to pick up a variety of shifts

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
