An international school in Cambridge are searching for a Teacher of History & Religious Studies to deliver lessons to KS3 & KS4 to the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The role is covering Maternity leave on a part time basis until the end of the academic year, over 3 days per week – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
The school is located just outside Cambridge & is set amongst fields & meadows, with a view to build a new school building on the site in the next 3 to 5 years. As part of an ever growing network of schools & colleges, they are receiving investments of up to £27 million!
As an international school, there are students of varying languages & the school offer a mother tongue course so that all students have the opportunity to continue learning their native language. Therefor any additional language spoken is highly regarded when applying for positions at this school.
The school is unique & individual in their approach to education. They pride themselves on their knowledge & rapport with students & the depth of understanding they have.
-To apply for this role, the applicant must have a thorough knowledge of History & Religious Studies up to GCSE, having either subject or Humanities as a specialism.
